It came to him in the middle of the night, much like all the good ideas he’s ever had. In that brief moment of clarity he suddenly realized that the perfect hike, the perfect picnic and the perfect day were all one and the same. “Kickass,” he thought to himself. “Picnics.”
Alberto | Culinary Artist
We found Alberto hanging upside-down under a waterfall, harvesting xuchople roots with a knife between his teeth. He needed them for a savory smoothie that he hadn’t quite perfected yet (later, he did). It turns out he loves picnics as well, so now he’s in charge of our food.
Kala | Trail Scout
The real brains behind Kickass Picnics, she has so much to offer beyond her fluffy tail. Always at the head of the pack, she consistently sniffs out excellent trails, routes, and epic vista points where you can find her posing shamelessly for photos. If Kala doesn’t like the trail, then it’s back to the drawing board.
